   苏州明莹刺绣美术工作室是由周莹华亲手创办的专门绣制各类中高档刺绣艺术品的企业。
   周莹华，苏州民间工艺家，出身于剌绣世家；精于绣制各类刺绣艺术品，尤其善于绣制发绣， 2005年3月被评为苏州市首届民间工艺家，2005年，发绣《维摩演教图》被苏州工艺美术博物馆收藏，2005年10月，先后在第八届北京国际艺术博览会上获得“金奖”，在第六届中国工艺美术大师作品暨工艺美术精品博览会上获得2005“百花杯”中国工艺美术精品奖“金奖”和“优秀作品奖”。2005年11月，在中国收藏文化博览会上获得“金奖”。在短短两个月中连续获得三个金奖，被誉为“中国发绣第一人“，2006年2月又应“从长城到奥林匹亚艺术行”组委会邀请，赴意大利都灵冬奥会进行艺术巡展，宣传中国文化。2007年11月，在第八届中国工艺美术大师作品暨工艺美术精品博览会上又获得2007“百花杯”中国工艺美术精品奖“金奖”。所绣制的刺绣品被国际奥委会名誉主席萨马兰奇等世界名人收藏。

   目前，企业专门生产“明莹堂”、“苏莹”系列刺绣产品，产品包括：
    1、欣赏品刺绣（单面绣、双面绣、发绣等），
    2、日用品刺绣（刺绣床品、刺绣靠垫、刺绣提包、刺绣围巾等），
    3、旅游品刺绣（刺绣钱包、刺绣名片夹、刺绣挂件、刺绣贺卡等）。
    4、各类回笼穗流苏。

    The art of Suzhou embroidery (or "Suxiu") has a long history, having been in existence for over 2,000 years. The local style is characterized by the beauty of its subject matter,the elegance of its colors, the richness of its stitching techniques,and the exquisiteness of its needle work.
The Mingyitang (Hall of Brightness and Benefit) range of embroideries is a product brand name launched by the Suzhou Mingyitang Embroidery Store. Works bearing this name are hand embroidered by local master craftsmen,following designs created by leading artists,under the direction of experts in the art of embroidery.We specialize in creating high,and superior grade products. From design to completion, every step is subject to a rigorous quality control system, to ensure the perfection of the completed work.
